One Litre Of Tears - Sawajiri

I think the jdrama "One Litre Of Tears" is one of the most touching stories ever; you can't help crying since the very first episode. It's really beautiful and sad at the same time, makes you think that you should be really grateful for everything you have in life and stop complaining about every little thing.

The picture I used as reference was a little different than this, Sawajiri Erika (who is by the way one of the greatest actresses I've ever seen) was wearing another type of uniform, had long hair and well, she wasn't crying. I changed all of those things to make her look more like the girl (Aya) in the drama. I wanted to keep the smile and the tears together, since the message that Aya gives is that you should just keep living without regrets and look forward all the time even though it's really hard considering her disease; it's really tough what she (and lots of other people) went/go through, I think she's really someone to admire.
